Ichiran Shibuya: menu, price and how to order
Updated
Ichiran Shibuya serves one tonkotsu ramen at 1,180 yen, from a ticket machine, in a solo booth. Both Shibuya stores are listed as open 24 hours. Staffing can still limit seats, change the hours, or close a store, and a crowd can stop entry before last order.
The address in the page data is the Jinnan store, B1F, 1-22-7 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0041. Spain Slope is the second Shibuya shop, a short walk away. This page is those two, not every Ichiran in Japan.
How to order
The system guide is the company's own walk through. A vacant seat panel is at the flavour concentration booths. A lighted 空 means that booth is free, so you sit. The booths have partitions. The walls can be lowered. A bamboo curtain hangs between you and the staff. You circle an order sheet, from flavour strength to noodle texture, press the button at the counter, and hand over the sheet with your meal tickets.
The store pages say you pay at the ticket machine. Cash is first on the Japanese Shibuya page. The machine also lists QR payment (WeChat Pay, Alipay, PayPay, Merpay, d払い, au PAY, Rakuten Pay, J-Coin Pay, Bank Pay, and Japan Post Bank Pay), cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners), and IC payment (transit cards, QUICPay, Rakuten Edy, iD). Any of that can be unavailable during maintenance. The English page's "Glue" is a bad translation: the Japanese line is nori, 4 sheets, 160 yen.
A first visit video is on the how to page. The store pages say the video can differ by shop.
Extra noodles are kaedama. The system guide says you leave at least half the soup, and that a metal plate set on a sensor plays the charumera so you do not have to call anyone.
The guide also says some shops have booths for 2 to 4 people and private rooms for 3 to 9. Both Shibuya stores list 0 tables and 0 private rooms, so that line is not these two shops.
Menu and price
Both Shibuya store pages, English and Japanese, listed the same bowl on 22 October 2026. The classic tonkotsu ramen, "since 1960", is 1,180 yen. The company describes itself as concentrating on that one bowl rather than a wide menu.
Extras on those pages, in yen:
- Extra noodles (kaedama) 210. Half extra noodles 150.
- Soft boiled salted egg 160.
- Rice 300. Small rice 250.
- Extra chashu, 4 slices, 290.
- Extra green onion 160. Wood ear mushroom 160. Extra garlic, 2 cloves, 160.
- Secret spice at 11 to 20 times the normal level, 140.
- Oscaran acidity 160.
- Nori, 4 sheets, 160.
- Fat dissolving tea 280. Draft beer, medium, 650. Cola 200. Orange juice 200. Matcha almond tofu 450.
A kids ramen is linked from the store page, without a price in that list. The page says some stores also offer set menus, and that the menu can change. A late night charge applies from 22:00 to 06:00. The pages do not print the amount, so this page does not invent one.
The two Shibuya stores
Jinnan
English page and Japanese page. B1F, 1-22-7 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0041. The Japanese page names the Iwamoto Building. Phone 050-1808-2546, and it may not be answered when the shop is busy. 21 flavour concentration counter seats, 0 tables, 0 private rooms. Child utensils are available. No parking.
Listed hours are 24 hours. The same pages say staffing can limit seats, change the hours, or close the shop, that the last order time changes with the crowd, and that entry can stop before last order. The Jinnan pages read on 22 October 2026 did not list a dated closure.
Access on the page: cross the scramble, walk toward Harajuku along the 109 men's store, and the shop is next to Shibuya Marui JAM. About 3 minutes from JR Shibuya Hachiko exit, and about 3 minutes from Tokyo Metro Shibuya.
Spain Slope
Store page. B1F, 13-7 Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0042. Phone 050-1808-2279, with the same note that it may not be answered. 40 counter seats, 0 tables, 0 private rooms. About 5 minutes from Shibuya Station. The English page does not name an exit.
Listed hours are 24 hours, with the same crowding caveats. The English page, read 22 October 2026, also says the shop is closed on 27 October 2026 from 03:00 to 09:00. Hours can change with little notice. Check the store page on the day.
Neither Shibuya page read that day offered a reservation link. This page does not turn that into a rule that reservations are refused. It only says no booking link was on those two pages.
The queue, and what to expect
No wait in minutes is published, and no quieter hour is named. The useful fact is the one the store prints: you may not get in, even before last order, when it is crowded. Twenty four hours is the listed schedule, not a promise that a seat is empty.
What you are walking into is one bowl, customised on a paper sheet, eaten in a partitioned counter. You are not sharing a table. You are not choosing from a long ramen list. If you want a set meal with a stone plate instead, Gyukatsu Motomura is the other Shibuya and Shinjuku page.
Where it sits in a trip
The 7 day, 10 day and 14 day Japan itineraries, and 5 days in Tokyo, all end a day in Shibuya. Shibuya Sky is the timed ticket for the view. Ichiran is the bowl before or after it, including late, if the store is actually seating. The solo Japan guide is the one that already describes a ticket machine and a booth.
