Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan
Shibuya Sky tickets: when they go on sale
Updated
At midnight Japan time, two weeks before the day, on Webket. Each ticket is a 20-minute entry time, and the counter on the 14th floor sells the same two weeks.
- When does booking open?
- At 00:00 JST, two weeks before the visit. A visit on 5 November goes on sale at midnight Japan time on 22 October.
- How far ahead is that?
- 2 weeks ahead.
- Where do I book?
- Online on Webket, the official ticket site linked from the SHIBUYA SKY ticket page, or at the ticket counter on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square. Tickets for children are sold only at that counter.
- Does it sell out?
- Tickets are limited. If an adult time has sold out on the web, the counter is sold out too. A cancellation can put that time back on sale. The official pages do not say whether sunset times go first. Entry from 15:00 costs more than earlier in the day.
- Can I cancel or change?
- The date and time cannot be changed. A web ticket can be cancelled free until the day before, and the whole order cancels together, not one ticket of it. A counter ticket cannot be cancelled. If the roof is closed at your entry time, a web ticket can be cancelled free before you go in, until some time after that slot starts. The site does not say how long.
- How much is a Shibuya Sky ticket?
- On the web, an adult pays 2,700 yen to enter by 14:59 and 3,400 yen from 15:00. At the counter those prices are 3,000 yen and 3,700 yen. A child pays 1,200 yen, at the counter only. Ages 5 and under go free. The prices include tax.
- Can I bring a bag, a hat or a tripod onto the roof?
- No. Bags, backpacks, pouches, hats and tripods stay off the roof. Leave them in a locker on the 46th floor. A camera on a strap, or one that fits in a pocket, can go up.
- What time does Shibuya Sky open?
- From 10:00 to 22:30, with the last entry at 21:20. It is closed on 1 January. The roof can shut for weather while the indoor gallery stays open.
- Can I buy a Shibuya Sky ticket on the day?
- Yes, if that 20-minute slot is still for sale, on Webket or at the 14th-floor counter. An adult slot that has sold out online is sold out at the counter too. Tickets for children are sold at the counter even then.

How to book
Buy on Webket from the official ticket page. An adult web ticket is 2,700 yen for entry by 14:59 and 3,400 yen from 15:00, tax included. At the counter those adult prices are 3,000 yen up to 15:00 and 3,700 yen after.
A ticket for a child, including a 12-year-old still in elementary school, is 1,200 yen and sold only at the counter, just before entry, with the child there. Ages 5 and under go free, including a 6-year-old not yet in school. A child of 11 or under needs an adult who has a ticket.
Be on the 14th floor during your 20 minutes. Arriving early does not let you in. Arriving late can mean a wait, a refusal, or the price difference if the later slot costs more. Nothing is sold after 21:20.
If it’s sold out
Check Webket again. A cancelled order can reopen a sold-out time, and an adult time that is gone online is gone at the counter too.
Tickets for children are still sold at the counter on the day when the adult tickets for that time have sold out.
Booking for a group
There is no group desk and no group price. A web order cancels all together, so anyone who might drop out is easier on a separate order.
SHIBUYA SKY turns away tour groups that are not from a seller it names. As of 1 September 2026 that list includes Klook, KKday and Trip.com.

- No bags, backpacks, hats or tripods on the roof. Leave them in a locker on the 46th floor. A camera on a neck strap, or one that fits in a pocket, can go up.
