How to book
Book a free timed ticket through skygarden.london. Free public access runs Monday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00 (last slot 17:00), and Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays 11:00 to 21:00 (last slot 19:45).
Every visitor's name must be on the booking; tickets marked 'TBC' are refused. Each person must bring physical ID that matches their name. Your visit lasts up to one hour from entry, and everyone goes through an airport-style security check.
If you have a table at Darwin Brasserie or Fenchurch Restaurant, you do not need a separate access ticket. A Larch restaurant booking does not include access.
If it’s sold out
Try as a walk-in: Sky Garden accepts free walk-ins during public hours when there is space, but not after 17:00 on weekdays. Walk-ins must show photo ID.
At the door you can also buy an early morning ticket (£11.50, with a hot drink) or an evening music-night ticket (from £15.50). Or book Darwin Brasserie or Fenchurch Restaurant, up to 60 days ahead, which includes access.
Booking for a group
Free public tickets cover groups of up to 10. Groups larger than 10 can only visit on community days, every second Wednesday of the month, and separate bookings that add up to more than 10 people arriving together are turned away.
Children aged 5 and over need a ticket; under-5s do not. Under-16s must be with an adult aged 18 or over, at most three children per adult. Groups under 10 can arrive separately, each with their own ticket.
Good to know
- Set a reminder for the Monday three weeks before your visit week.
- Arrive on time: more than 15 minutes late usually means no entry and booking another day.
- Weekday daytime slots are easier to get than weekend evenings.
- Pack light: bags bigger than airline cabin size are not allowed, and there is nowhere to leave them.
