Glastonbury tickets: when they go on sale
Glastonbury tickets go on sale in one sale months before the festival, only to people who registered in advance. For 2027 that sale was on 1 and 4 October 2026 and sold out within an hour; the next chance is the official resale of returned tickets in spring 2027.
- When does booking open?
- One autumn sale, months ahead, for registered buyers only. For the 2027 festival (23 to 27 June 2027): registration closed at 17:00 BST on 25 September 2026, tickets with coach travel went on sale at 18:00 BST on Thursday 1 October 2026, and general admission at 09:00 BST on Sunday 4 October 2026. The date of the spring 2027 resale is not announced yet, and no sale is announced for the festival after 2027.

- About 8 to 9 months ahead.
- Where do I book?
- Only at glastonbury.seetickets.com, and only for people registered at glastonburyregistration.co.uk. Buyers outside the UK can book; tickets for buyers outside the EU are collected at the festival box office unless arranged otherwise.
- Does it sell out?
- Very fast. The festival's own page confirms both 2027 sales sold out. According to PA reports, coach tickets sold out in under 30 minutes and general admission by 09:45 BST, about 45 minutes after opening; the festival said demand greatly exceeded supply.
- Can I cancel or change?
- Tickets carry the holder's photo and cannot be transferred. You can ask See Tickets for a refund until 23:59 BST on 7 May 2027, less a £25 admin fee (plus £15 for a coach booking); after that there are no refunds unless you added Refund Protection when paying the balance. An unpaid balance cancels the ticket and refunds the deposit less £25.

How to book
Everyone aged 13 or over on 23 June 2027 needs their own free registration, with a passport-style photo, at glastonburyregistration.co.uk before the sale. Photos are reviewed within 48 working hours. Registration closes days before the sale and does not reopen until after it.
In the sale, one buyer can book up to 6 tickets per transaction at glastonbury.seetickets.com. A 2027 general admission ticket is £408 including a £5 booking fee, plus £11.25 postage per order (£3 for coach tickets). You pay a £100 deposit per person when you book.
For 2027 the balance of £308 is due between 09:00 BST on 1 April and 23:59 BST on 7 April 2027, when you can also add car parking (£60) and Refund Protection. General admission tickets are physical and posted in late May and June.
If it’s sold out
Wait for the official resale of cancelled and returned tickets in spring 2027 on glastonbury.seetickets.com. Keep your registration and photo up to date so you can buy.
Do not buy from anyone else: resale is prohibited, every ticket shows the registered holder's photo, and it is checked at the gate.
Booking for a group
One buyer can book up to 6 tickets in one go, but needs each person's registration number and the postcode that matches it. Tickets cannot be moved to other names.
Children aged 12 and under need no ticket and no registration. Ages 13 to 15 need a TEEN ticket and must come with a ticket-holding adult aged 18 or over who takes responsibility for them. Coach ticket holders cannot switch to general admission and must travel on their booked coach.
Good to know
- Register, or update your photo, at least 7 days before registration closes, as the festival advises.
- Collect everyone's registration numbers and postcodes before the sale opens.
- Use one browser tab and do not refresh once you are in the queue; the festival warns this can break your booking.
- Put the April balance window in your calendar: an unpaid balance loses the ticket.
