Park Güell tickets: when they go on sale
Park Güell tickets go on sale up to three months ahead on a rolling calendar, on the official site parkguell.barcelona, and must be bought online in advance. No release hour is published.
- When does booking open?
- Up to 3 months ahead, on a rolling calendar. You pick a date and a 30-minute entry slot. No release hour is published (Barcelona time is CET, or CEST in summer).
- How far ahead is that?
- Up to 3 months ahead.
- Where do I book?
- Online only, on the official site parkguell.barcelona (the shop is parkguellonline.cat). Visitors from abroad can book, and the QR code on your phone is your ticket.
- Does it sell out?
- Travel guides say summer and weekend slots often sell out 1 to 2 weeks ahead, and off-season slots a few days ahead. There is no official figure; the official site says only that availability is very limited.
- Can I cancel or change?
- You can change the booking up to one day before the visit, if there is space. No refund rule was found on the official pages. Entry is allowed up to 30 minutes after your slot starts; after that you are turned away.

How to book
Book on parkguell.barcelona. General admission has been 18 euros since January 2025 (it was 10 euros). Children under 7 are free but need a 0-euro ticket.
Options are the self-guided visit, the official guided tour (up to 25 people), and visits combined with the Gaudí House Museum or the Porter's Lodge. Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
Arrive at your slot time, or within 30 minutes of it. Once inside you can stay as long as you like, but you cannot re-enter after leaving.
If it’s sold out
Check the official site for later slots: changed bookings can free up places up to the day before.
Try the official guided tour or a combined ticket with the Gaudí House Museum or the Porter's Lodge. Without a ticket, you can still walk the free parts of the park outside the Monumental Zone.
Booking for a group
Up to 7 tickets per order. Groups of 8 or more (up to 30) must register and book through the official Organized and Professional Groups section.
Tickets are personal and non-transferable. Add a free ticket for each child under 7.
Good to know
- For weekends and May to October, book at least 1 to 2 weeks ahead.
- There is no time limit inside, so an early slot gives you more time before it gets busy.
- If your plans shift, change the slot by the day before rather than losing it.
