Calanque de Sugiton: when summer reservations open
On reservation days in summer, places for each day open at 09:00 Paris time three days before and close at 18:00 the day before, free, through the Calanques National Park. In 2026, bookings for 20 June opened on 17 June at 09:00; the 2027 dates are not yet announced.
- When does booking open?
- 09:00 CEST, three days before your visit. Bookings close at 18:00 the day before. In 2026 the scheme ran on 20 and 21 June, every day from 27 June to 30 August, and on 5, 6, 12 and 13 September. The park has renewed the scheme until 2027; the 2026 dates were announced on 5 May 2026, and the 2027 dates are not yet published.
- How far ahead is that?
- 3 days ahead.
- Where do I book?
- Online, free and open to anyone, through the booking service linked from the Calanques National Park's website (troov.com). You get a confirmation email to show on arrival at the cove.
- Does it sell out?
- The park does not publish how many places there are or how fast they go; a news site reports 400 a day. Before the scheme, the cove saw peaks of 2,500 visitors a day, and guides say places go quickly on summer weekends.
- Can I cancel or change?
- The booking is free. If the forest massifs close because of fire risk, every booking for that day is cancelled and cannot be moved to another day. No other cancellation rule is published.

How to book
On reservation days, a booking is compulsory for the coves of Sugiton and Pierres Tombées and covers the whole day. Park staff are on site, and one person can book up to 8 times in the season.
If it’s sold out
Try the next day's window at 09:00, or choose a cove without a reservation scheme, such as Morgiou, Sormiou or En-Vau.
A news site reports that arrivals by kayak or boat are not counted in the quota, which covers walkers.
Booking for a group
Up to 5 people per reservation, so a larger group needs several bookings, made at 09:00 three days before.
Children under 3 do not need a place.
Good to know
- Set an alarm for 09:00 Paris time exactly three days before.
- At 18:00 the evening before, check the fire-risk access on the prefecture's website or the park's Mes Calanques app: if the massif closes, your booking is cancelled.
