Connect Tripmo to Grok
Add Tripmo to Grok as a custom connector on grok.com, with one command in Grok Build, or by asking Grok Bot. Then Grok plans your trips in it, on one map your group shares.
On grok.com
-
In Grok, open Connectors.
-
Choose New Connector, then Custom, and paste this address:
https://app.tripmo.me/mcp -
Your AI opens Tripmo: sign in, or make an account, and choose Allow.
In Grok Business or Enterprise, an admin adds connectors first.
In Grok Build
-
In a terminal, add Tripmo:
grok mcp add --transport http tripmo https://app.tripmo.me/mcp -
The first time Grok Build uses Tripmo, your browser opens it: sign in, or make an account, and choose Allow.
In Grok Bot
-
In a chat with Grok Bot, ask it to add Tripmo as a custom server:
Add a custom MCP server called tripmo at https://app.tripmo.me/mcp -
When it asks, tell it to go ahead.
-
Your AI opens Tripmo: sign in, or make an account, and choose Allow.
Grok Bot’s own help doesn’t describe this yet: it’s the way people add a server of their own today. Its Connect apps list will have Tripmo once it’s listed there.
What Tripmo will ask
When Grok opens Tripmo, you sign in (or make an account), and Tripmo asks: Grok wants to read and change the trips you’re in, as you.
Choose Allow. You can disconnect it at any time on your Tripmo profile.
Then say this.
Let’s plan a trip in Tripmo. Ask me where I’m going, roughly when and who’s coming, then start the trip. If I already have notes or a spreadsheet, I’ll paste them in for you to bring everything in.
Your trip appears on Tripmo as soon as Grok saves it, with a link to share with the others.

Against xAI's Connectors docs, Grok Build's MCP docs, Grok Bot's apps docs. Grok’s screens change now and then; if a step doesn’t match, its own help has the last word, and tell us.
What it costs, and who pays
Connecting is free, and so is joining a friend’s trip. Whoever starts a trip pays for it once, with a Trip Pass for one trip or Frequent Flyer for every trip they start in a year, and everyone they let in joins free. See pricing.
