Connect Tripmo to Cursor
Add Tripmo to Cursor with one click, or in its mcp.json by hand. Then Cursor’s chat plans your trips in it: places, days and bookings on one map.
Opens Cursor, which asks you to confirm adding Tripmo. Then sign in to Tripmo when it asks. If nothing opens, update Cursor.
By hand
-
Open
~/.cursor/mcp.json(Cursor’s Customize, then MCPs, shows its servers) and add Tripmo:{ "mcpServers": { "tripmo": { "url": "https://app.tripmo.me/mcp" } } } -
Save it. The first time Cursor uses Tripmo, your browser opens it: sign in, or make an account, and choose Allow.
What Tripmo will ask
When Cursor opens Tripmo, you sign in (or make an account), and Tripmo asks: Cursor wants to read and change the trips you’re in, as you.
Choose Allow. You can disconnect it at any time on your Tripmo profile.
Then say this.
Let’s plan a trip in Tripmo. Ask me where I’m going, roughly when and who’s coming, then start the trip. If I already have notes or a spreadsheet, I’ll paste them in for you to bring everything in.
Your trip appears on Tripmo as soon as Cursor saves it, with a link to share with the others.

What it costs, and who pays
Connecting is free, and so is joining a friend’s trip. Whoever starts a trip pays for it once, with a Trip Pass for one trip or Frequent Flyer for every trip they start in a year, and everyone they let in joins free. See pricing.
