Sorn reservations: when they open
Sorn opens reservations one month at a time: guests from abroad email from 00:00 Bangkok time on the 15th, and online bookings on TableCheck open at 12:00 Bangkok time on the 25th, both for the following month.
- When does booking open?
- The 15th at 00:00 ICT by email; the 25th at 12:00 ICT online. Both windows are for the following month: email bookings for November 2026 opened at 00:00 ICT on 15 October, and TableCheck opens November at 12:00 ICT on 25 October 2026. When the 25th falls on a Saturday, when Sorn is closed, TableCheck opens on Friday the 24th instead.
- How far ahead is that?
- 2 to 6 weeks ahead, one month at a time.
- Where do I book?
- Guests from abroad email reservation@sornfinesouthern.com. Everyone else books on TableCheck, through the link on the restaurant's reservations page.
- Does it sell out?
- The restaurant publishes no figure. Restaurants for Kings, a booking guide, says the month clears within the first hour, Fridays first.
- Can I cancel or change?
- None. Sorn's terms on TableCheck say every booking is final: no cancellations or date changes, and the deposit is not refunded. Arriving more than 30 minutes late voids the booking.

How to book
From abroad, email reservation@sornfinesouthern.com at or after 00:00 Bangkok time (ICT, UTC+7) on the 15th. Otherwise, use the TableCheck link on sornfinesouthern.com/reservations at 12:00 ICT on the 25th. The phone line, +66 99 081 1119, answers from 14:00 to 18:00 ICT.
On TableCheck, the Classic Menu costs 7,800 baht per person and is suggested for a first visit; the Seasonal Menu costs 8,900 baht, is meant for returning guests and is served only on the dates shown there. Both are before the 10% service charge and 7% VAT. The deposit you pay counts toward the tasting menu only, not drinks.
Sorn serves southern Thai food at 56 Soi Sukhumvit 26, from 18:00 to 22:00, and is closed on Saturdays. It holds three Michelin stars, the first Thai restaurant to do so.
If it’s sold out
Try the other window: email on the 15th, or TableCheck on the 25th, and ask for a weekday. If the month is gone, try again for the next one.
Do not pay a third party for a guaranteed table.
Booking for a group
TableCheck takes parties of 1 to 12. Book the exact number: Sorn cannot add guests on the night, and if fewer people come, only those present are served and the deposit is not refunded. Service starts only once everyone is seated.
Everyone must be able to eat the set menu. There is no vegetarian or vegan menu, and Sorn cannot seat anyone with a shellfish allergy, or an allergy to core ingredients such as coriander root, garlic, shrimp paste, coconut, chili or fish sauce. Check with the whole group before you book.
Good to know
- Convert 00:00 and 12:00 Bangkok time (UTC+7) to your own time zone before the 15th and the 25th.
- Have two or three dates ready. Sorn is closed on Saturdays, and Fridays go first.
- Parking at Sorn is limited. Park at the Four Wings Hotel (50 baht an hour) and take Sorn's free shuttle, and leave time for traffic.
