Şeb-i Arus whirling dervish ceremonies in Konya: when tickets go on sale
Tickets for the 2026 ceremonies (7 to 17 December 2026) went on sale on 9 October 2026 at 10:00 TRT on biletinial.com, and by 15 October all 13 sessions showed as sold out. Buyers can cancel up to 48 hours before a session, so seats may come back, but that is not guaranteed.
- When does booking open?
- 9 October 2026, 10:00 TRT, for 7 to 17 December. All 13 sessions showed as sold out on 15 October 2026. Sessions are at 20:00 on most days, 19:00 on 7 December, 14:00 and 20:00 on 12 and 13 December, and 14:00 only on 17 December. They are in the sema hall of the Mevlana Cultural Centre in Konya; 2026 marks the 753rd anniversary of Rumi's death. The 2027 sale date is not announced.

- About 2 months before the ceremonies; sold out within a week in 2026.
- Where do I book?
- Online at biletinial.com, the only channel named by Konya's Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. The site has an English version and shows Visa, Mastercard and Troy card logos.
- Does it sell out?
- Yes. On 15 October 2026, six days after sales opened, biletinial.com showed every session as sold out. How fast they went is not published. Hürriyet reported that the 2025 ceremonies sold out too.
- Can I cancel or change?
- Per biletinial's event rules, tickets bought online and not printed at a box office can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the session: in 'My tickets' if you bought with an account, or by email to info@biletinial.com if you did not. Biletinial may keep its service fee.

Other cultural events held in Konya's venues during the commemoration are free, per the official notice.

Keep checking biletinial.com, especially in the last days before the 48-hour cancellation cut-off: cancelled seats may come back.
See a sema at another time: the Konya State Turkish Sufi Music and Sema Ensemble performs in the same hall on Saturdays at 19:00 until 28 November 2026, from 200.01 TL on biletinial.com.

Buy all seats in one order if you want to sit together. No official per-order limit, name or ID rule was found.

Good to know
- Note the 17 December session is at 14:00, not in the evening.
- If you want to see the ceremony rather than be there on the anniversary, the ensemble's Saturday sessions in the same hall are the easier ticket.
